Bees need help, and people need help understanding why.
What we do: Connect the people to the bees, and consequently the natural world.
How we do it: Through apiculture, education, and advocacy.
Why we do it: Because bees are critical to the health of ecosystems and the global food supply, and we just downright love bees.
Meet the Beekeeper
Christine Webster is a visual designer who turned to beekeeping in 2017 as an escape from her sedentary desk work. What started as curiosity and affection slowly unfurled into a nourishing hobby, only to snap into something like a calling.
Christine’s passion is working with and for bees. Her strength is engaging people. Her skill is realizing the abstract through design; and these three tools combined are what realize The Peoples Bees.
“Christine was an absolute pleasure learning from. Her apiary is located on a beautiful farm and very well attended too—you know she loves everything about bees. She was very knowledgeable and loves teaching. I learned so much about bees and beekeeping in just a 2-hour private lesson! I look forward to her guidance and knowledge when I am ready to begin my own journey into beekeeping! I highly recommend The Peoples Bees for all your bee needs.”

“So much is known about honey bees and other pollinators by scientists and beekeepers, yet so little is understood by the general public. The Peoples Bees serves as a voice for the bees and the people.”
– Christine Webster, The Peoples Bees
“The Peoples Bees helped me realize how easy it can be to live with bees in mind.”
